Spring!!
OK, so I almost forgot I was blogging again! I've been lazy on the post lately so this will include the last month or so!! We have been busy so, I have a lot to talk about!! This may not be in order of how things actually happened but, I try to keep a accurate order of events!!
Jaden got his "BIG" cast off!! But, he got another one on. His leg is healing but not completely correct. It has about a 5% shift. Doctor said it ok though. We go back in 3 weeks to get the walking cast taken off!! This has been a long learning experience.
Jaden has also lost another tooth!! That bring the total to 4. 2 top and 2 bottom.
Justin and I have been married for 8 years now!! I am so grateful for him! Marriage is definitely not easy but, it is worth it! He still makes me laugh! He is a GREAT Dad and my best friend! I'm grateful he has put up with me for this long!
Collin is 5 now!! I can't believe that he is almost in kindergarten now. I feel like I'm getting old!! He is such a good kid! He got a bike for his birthday and also a Bat mobile, clothes, CARS ramp and CARS coloring book. Justin and I couldn't wait to see his face when he got the bike so we gave it to him a day early!!
We had the Nelson family reunion. I'm not usually a reunion type person but, we had a BBQ with most of the cousins the night before. It was SO fun!! We got to play with all the kids and have good food and play fun games!!
I've decided that I am going to run a marathon. I wont be until the end of next year though and let me explain why. Justin and I plan on having another(and the last) baby some time around the beginning of next year. I want to start getting into running shape before I get pregnant so I can still run during my pregnancy. I love running! This will be the start of my 6th week tomorrow. I have great friend that is running with me!! Rachelle, is awesome!!
Justin's Grandma passed away about a week and a 1/2 ago. Her funeral service was last week. It was hard to see her go but, we know that she is better now. She was battling cancer for a while now. She had chemotherapy but, it did not get rid of the cancer completely. It eventually came back with a vengeance. She was such a nice lady! It was hard to see Justin and Trassie (Justin's Mom) go through that experience. I know that Barbara is feeling better and is in a much better place but, It was hard for me to see them hurt so bad. The funeral service was nice and Justin was able to give a talk about the plan of salvation. I think that was help for for him and his family. He is such an grate example to them and to me and his boys!
I almost forgot about Easter. It was nice to be able to watch conference Easter weekend. Nice not to have to rush around to get ready for church. Nicer to be able to take it easy! I’m grateful for the Atonement. I have been pondering about it a lot lately. I’m grateful to know that I am not going through life alone, although, I don’t always to remember to ask the Lord for help, I sometimes feel alone. I love the refreshing feeling I get when I feel down and alone and then remember that I have the Lord to depend on, to pray to and rely on. I realize that the Atonement is not just Christ atoning for our sins but, that he felt everything we have gone through. He has felt our joy, our pain, our loneliness, our happiness. Everything we have gone through or will ever go through he has been through. That gives me a peaceful, comforting feeling.
Justin and I almost forgot to get the boys Easter baskets!! The boys ended up with Easter buckets filled with tissue paper instead of grass. When I went to the store to get the baskets and grass they were clean out!! Ha Ha oh well!! I can you the buckets for cleaning now!!
I haven’t mentioned anything about Cutler. He is such a goof ball!! He is so funny! Always keep us laughing. This kid is crazy! He is NOT a morning person. If you wake him up in the morning or is up before he wants to be, he is a crab!! It cracks me up! We have to wake him up nice and careful, make him think it was his idea he is waking up. So we normally let him sleep as long as he wants!! Other than that he is a super happy, super funny kid!!

Broken Leg
Yes, Broken leg!! I got a call from the school nurse on Friday morning. She said that Jaden had fallen off the monkey bars and maybe sprained his ankle. So, I wasn't super worried. I could hear Jaden crying in the back round, but didn't really think anything of it. When I got to the school the nurse said it took her a while to get him settled down, so I thought, ok maybe it is just a sprain. When I picked him up from the little exam table, he started freakin out and crying really bad. I thought then that something was wrong. I took him back to the office and had one of the Nurse Practitioners take a look at him. He wasn't too sure if it was a break or not, so we went over to Desert Radiology. We got back to the x-ray room he was not excited, because he knew that they were going to straighten him out for the x-ray. I felt so bad for him, it's hard to see your child in pain and not be able to do anything for them! We waited while the tech went to process the films instead of just leaving. He came back in and said well it's broke and pretty good too! Crazy!! I didn't think it could happen to Jaden again! I really, honestly didn't think he would have another broken bone!! So we went back to the office and the doctor took a look at the films and kinda raised his eyebrows and smiled. He said we needed to get over to the Orthopedic office like right now!! Ha ha I though he was going to be put into a splint and go to someone on Monday. We ended up going back to the Pediatric Ortho that we went to when he broke his arms. When the doctor pulled us back, it took a second but, he remembered who we were! He said you don't get too many bilateral wrist fractures!! Is that bad!! Ha ha, our ped. ortho remembered who Jaden was!! Then when the guy came in to cast his arms, he was giving me that look like, you look familiar to me, I said yes we've been here before!! He said, different kid though right? Nope, same kid different limb!! They are great though!! We are so glad we found them!!! But, the doctor said, "next time, just come straight to the office", sad, that he knows there will be a next time! I guess that's what you get with 3 boys!! Ha Ha. Anyway, cast up to the thigh and a walker to get around!! He has been a good sport about it, though. He has been in quite a bit of pain but it's getting better.
Jaden should not have actually been on those particular monkey bars. He was on the bigger kid playground. So now, I hope, he has learned a lesson about following rules!

Keepin' Busy
I thought since Dr. Paul was out of town I would have a nice, relaxing week. I hasn't been super crazy, but I haven't had any "extra" time to just sit and do nothing. It has been nice being able to get all my unimportant things done! Seems like I never have time to get those kind of things done. I still have half the day tomorrow to get the rest of the things on my "to do" list done.
I got to go to Jaden's class today and read to them. It is Nevada Reading week and all the classes can have guest readers!! I almost didn't make it. I totally forgot I planned on going until 12:50 this afternoon. I was supposed to be in his class at 12:30, I felt so bad, I thought they had to go to PE at 1:30, so I was only going to be able to read for a few minutes!! It ended up that the kids had art today and that was in the morning!! I was SO relieved!! It all turned out great!! I swung by my Mom's really fast and picked up Yertle the Turtle! It was fun to read but, that freaking Dr.Seuss really makes it feel like you are illiterate when you read his books!! Yertle the Turtle had 2 other stories in the book so we ended up reading all three!! I think the kids liked it!! They seemed too! I really have learned to LOVE reading!!
We got a new kitchen table AND chairs!! For almost a year and a half I had my "super smoking" deal, my table I got for $70.00 at DI, without any chairs. We looked and looked!! You can't find any good deals on chairs!! They are all about $150.00 for a good, sturdy chair!! We got a counter height table set at Sam's Club that was only $687.00. Totally worth getting!! It came with 8 chairs. If we would have bought 8 chairs alone, it would have cost more than that!!
We also got a recliner for the family room!! It completes the room. We had an empty space for a long time and now it is filled. Justin has been wanting a recliner for some time. We found it at RC Willey over the weekend and Justin picked it up tonight.
How are we doing this all?? Yes, your right, tax return! So we now enjoy SITTING at the table as a family and Justin has his easy chair to relax in!! And we will put the rest away because it seems like we have to use it for those "Rainy days" more often than not!!

Grateful for good friends
I truly am blessed. I have a some of the best friends that anyone could have. They come in and out of my life a the right times! I have to say that I know our Heavenly Father is mindfull of each one of us. It comforts me to know that he is always aware of my needs. I am a huge believer that EVERYTHING happends for a reason! I know that nothing in our lives is by chance. I get to work with one of my BEST friends. She is amazing. She has always been someone that I could not talk to in a long time and then it's as if we hadn't ever been apart. She has always been someone that I looked up too. I know she's not perfect but, who is? She isn't afraid to tell me if Iam doing something stupid and she is always there if I need advise. When I first met her way back(ha ha) in high school I knew she was someone that I wanted to be around. It's like people gravitated toward her. She just had a light that you want to be a part of. I have never once felt uncomfortable or unwelcomed by her. She helps me want to be a better person! She is not my only friend that has always been there for me, I am blessed in that. I have awesome friends that, even though I seem to fall off the face of the earth sometimes, still love me. I'm grateful they understand me, becuase sometimes I don't always understand myself! They help me feel NORMAL when I have a dirty house or when my boys are driving me crazy. They remind me that I'm not a bad Mom when I get upset with my boys because, they are going through the same things too. I love them all. Even if I don't get to talk to my friends all the time I know they love me and except me, crazy as I am, I always know they care. I know my friends come in to my life for a reason. I am grateful for all the neat things I learn from them! Each one is an AMAZING woman, wife, and most of them mothers! I am so greatful for the examples they set for me!

Pink Eye!!
So I wake up this morning with a sore eye! I didn't think anything of it. I was getting ready for work and I was almost done, when I noticed crap coming out of the inside of my eye. I wasn't completely sure if I had it or not. I have never ever had pink eye. My boys have but not I!! So I had it checked out when I got to work and sure enough, Conjunctivitis (pink eye). Yuck!! Of all the crap I could get and I get that! So now I have to were my glasses all day for the next couple days...ugh! I know, I'm totally complaining! It just feels so gross and not to mention make me feel germy!! Of the infections that I would rather not get pink eye is one and ring worm!! Anyway. Enough complaining!!
So, the boys are good. Jaden is enjoying the short week and doesn't have any homework!! I really don't know who is more excited, me or him!! I hated homework when I was in school. Justin has worked the last 2 days! Whoo Hoo!! So, Cutler has been going back over to Grandma Debbie's house. He has had to wake up early the last couple days so, I know he is excited to go play with Aiden, but I'm not sure how excited he has been to wake up!! He is my sleepy head!! Collin, oh my Collin... Sometimes I'm not sure what we are gonna do with this kid!! He wants to do the opposite of what I want him to do. I think, I have decided to TELL him the opposite of what I want him to actually do!! I'm guessin he just wants to be different!! I love these boys!!

What to blog about...
I think this is why I stopped blogging in the first place. I can never think of anything to write when I log on to post. So maybe I will go with just some highlights from the day!
I love my job... really I do, for having to work instead of staying at home with my boys, I could ask for a better job, Boss or co-workers!! I know how blessed I am everyday that I am working where I am.
I LOVE to come home and have my boys excited to see me!! they may not think or even know but, it totally makes my day. I just hope I can try and be a better Mom and do more with them. I'm grateful that they love me unconditionally, even when I am not being the best Mom I can be.
I am SO grateful that Justin picks the boys up at the end of the day. I haven't told him enough but, it helps out SO much. It is so nice to come home at the end of the day, instead of picking up the boys and then going home!! I'm home a lot earlier now! It helps me try and stay in a good mood!
I LOVE my church callings. Girls camp is getting under way. It is going to be awesome. The theme is The Book of Mormon, Read it, Live It. We will pick as a ward who we want to be "like unto". We choose Ammon, but the YCL's got to it before us!! So we have some other Book of Mormon people to choose from. I would love to do King Lamoni! I was reading in Alma about the conversion story of King Lamoni. I love that King Lamoni was willing to give up ALL he had to know Christ. I have to remind myself often that I should be more like King Lamoni and be completely dedicated to the Lord. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I have a testimony of the truthfullness of the gospel. I know that my Heavenly Father LOVED me. I am constantly reminded of this day after day. I know that Christ lives and loves us. I know that he atoned for my sins. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. That he restored the priesthood to this earth in this last dispensation of the fullness of times. I know the Book of Mormon it true and am grateful to have this as the theme for girls camp this year. I pray that the girls in our ward and stake will know how important the Book of Mormon is. I pray that they would be like King Lamoni and want to give up all they have to know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ more.
I didn't realize that I would bear my testimony in this post. I am grateful I did. I haven't done it in a long time!! It is easier to post in a blog then to get up in front of the congregation on fast sunday!! My Joy is Full!!

Gonna try this again!
So, I haven't blogged in a LONG time!! Not sure why I'm starting this up again, except the fact that I want to start doing better at keeping a "journal". This is so much easier for me than writing in a book, so hopefully I can be better this time around, if not who cares! Ha Ha!
So here's what I would like to do. I would like to list something each day, something positive, about Justin and my boys. I am so grateful for them!! They are my life!! Even though sometimes my boys think I'm a mean Mom, and most times I drive Justin crazy, I love them!
I'm not completely sure what I will post about myself. Guess it will depend on the day.
So here we go with the positives:
Justin: I'm grateful he has a testimony of the gospel and is a worthy Priesthood holder.
Jaden: He is a smart kid and such a hard worker!
Collin: Loves to love. He has a tender heart!
Cutler: He is so funny!! He is always happy and makes us all laugh!!
