Sunbeams

I love to blog. It helps me to get my thoughts out of my mind and on to the paper/screen, whatever. Anyway, I just wanted to share some of the things that I learned or was retaught at church yesterday.

First of all, it didn't start like the Sunday that I had hoped for. I was a 1/2 hour late, very irritable and at my wits end. I really could have gone back home. I wasn't looking forward to being there. But, after settling down in the foyer, getting the boys situated on the couch, with help from Justin of course, I was able to listen to some of the speakers talks. Well, the last two anyway.(sorry to ramble on so much) I remember hearing one of the elders talking about having faith particularly about Joseph Smith. I know that my troubles are no where near Joseph Smiths but, I seemed to be able to relate. I don't remember the problem that Joseph was having but, I do remember that the response from the Lord was to the effect of " have I not provided for you" and "to have faith and be patient. I then started to realize that this is the reason why I was supposed to be at church. I knew that the Lord would bless us if we remain faithful and endure to the end. I especially have been struggling as of late and that part of sacrament, that I caught, really helped to put me back into perspective.
I have been blessed to teach the Sunbeams. Really, I mean the blessed. I love to be there. The are so incredible. We talked about the Holy Ghost, yesterday and I felt the spirit so strong! I know that they could feel it too. It was the neatest thing. They had the normal wiggles that Sunbeams do but, when I told them that the Holy Ghost was there with us, they got quiet and reverent. I told them how the Holy Ghost only can be around when we are trying to do good things and that if they could be reverent then the Holy Ghost would stay! I don't know if they really understood but, I know that they could feel something was different. The Spirit! I love to be able to teach them. They really help me to put things into perspective. Even though the lessons are simple teachings of the gospel, I know that those lessons are as much for me as they are for them. Being in Sunbeams yesterday made my day! I am so grateful for children and there willingness to learn and to be taught. I know that Christ loved the children. It is so evident in the programs that the church has put in place. It is through my children that I learn the most. I am so grateful to our Father in Heaven for families and for the blessing of eternal families.

Thanks for listening. I love you all and Grateful to be able to call you my friends!

No such Luck.

Well... we still haven't heard anything yet about our house. Our realtor told us pretty much not to count on it. So, we are back at it again. But, it is nothing new for us, we've had our home listed for almost a year now so, no biggy.

I am actually comforted. I have been praying all day for My Heavenly Father to calm my heart and that I wouldn't get so excited. For the first time in a week I don't feel so anxious or stressed. So, I'm ok with it. I am going to start praying for the next buyer to come around. Now, I just have to start cleaning my house again. I just let it go there for about a week and a half, it was so nice. Well the mess wasn't nice but, I really didn't really care too much.

I know everything happends for a reason, maybe this was just a test of our faith. Everything will fall into place like it is supposed to and when it is supposed to. This has definetely been a test of my faith. I was so excited when we got the offer, we both were, and then, for me when it started looking a little wishy washy I started to wonder "what did I do wrong" and "why isn't the Lord working with us" ? I know I shouldn't have even let those thoughts enter into my mind but, they did. I am not thinking that way any longer. I know how blessed we are. We still have our home, we haven't had to ever think about falling in to forclousure. I have a healthy family and a wonderful Husband, that Loves me. I have a Father in Heaven that loves me and, Thank Goodness, knows me better than I know me self.

I hope I didn't bore you all too bad. I just had to get it off my mind. Thanks for listening!

I may have jumped the gun!

Well, I have been hoping to post about having found our new house or where we will be staying next but... I don't know anything yet. We aren't sure now if all is going to go through with the sale. The buyer is having second thoughts. So, needless to say we are kinda bummed, not noing what is going on. We feel like we have been on a roller coaster! We were supposed to know by today at 4:00pm but, of course we haven't heard anything yet. At this point all we can do it pray that the buyer makes up his mind.... soon! Thanks for all the sweet comments and well wishing with the sale of our home, we really appreciate it! By the time I get on next we SHOULD know what is going on. I will keep you posted!

We have finally sold our house!

Well, as long as everything goes through. We are just going through escrow right now, so as long as the buyer doesn't back out, all will be good. We have had our house on the market for almost a year now, so needless to say we are really excited! We know with the how the market is today anything can happen. We aren't sure yet what we will be doing, it kind of caught us off gaurd, well it caught me off gaurd, I don't know about Justin. I think we will rent somewhere for a while and take our time looking for the perfect house. We are so grateful to have our prayers answered and are so grateful to the Lord for all that we have! We will keep you posted with what we are doing next!
